As the fetishisation of the "perfect" drink grew, customers were losing confidence with their mixologist skills and once again reverting to the easy beer or wine option. Instead of lengthy recipes, we made spirits accessible again - with a splash of this, a squeeze of that and a lot of taste appeal.

Entertaining in style means little upgrades - the fancy olives, the artisan snacks and something a little more special than the usual "beer or wine" option.
